Job Summary
A Technical Support Engineer to provide technical support for IT infrastructure, systems, networks, servers, and end-user environments. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support for Windows servers, desktops, laptops, and IT infrastructure.
Troubleshoot Windows OS, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP issues.
Perform user and computer management, password resets, and basic domain administration.
Monitor and troubleshoot network connectivity, IP, VLAN, and basic routing issues.
Support VMware, vSphere, ESXi, and Microsoft Hyper-V environments.
Perform backup monitoring, troubleshooting, restore, and recovery activities.
Support storage systems including NAS, SAN, RAID, and iSCSI.
Troubleshoot server hardware, disks, RAID controllers, RAM, NICs, and other components.
Manage file and folder permissions, NTFS permissions, and shared folders.
Use troubleshooting tools such as Event Viewer, Task Manager, Services, Device Manager, Disk Management, Ping, Tracert, NSLookup, Telnet, and Netstat.
Maintain technical documentation and prepare incident/service reports.
Coordinate with vendors and technical teams for issue resolution.
Follow IT security, backup, and operational procedures.
