We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Finance Functional Consultant to provide high-quality application support and managed services. The primary focus of this role is to handle India-specific support tickets, system enhancements, and critical business cycles. The ideal candidate must possess deep knowledge of core Oracle Financial modules alongside comprehensive expertise in local legal requirements, such as GST, TCS/TDS, and India Localization (OFI)
Responsibilities
Ticket & Incident Management: Own L2, and L3 support tickets, ensuring timely resolution of functional issues within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). [1, 2]
India Localization (OFI): Support, configure, and troubleshoot India-specific financial requirements, including Goods and Services Tax (GST), E-Invoicing, E-Way bills, and TDS/TCS. [1]
Financial Cycle Support: Provide dedicated support to business users during crucial periods, including month-end, quarter-end, and financial year-end closing and reconciliations. [1, 2]
Business Process Optimization: Collaborate with business stakeholders to map requirements, resolve process bottlenecks in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) tracks, and deliver stabilization. [1, 2]
Oracle SR Management: Create, track, and collaborate directly with Oracle Support via Service Requests (SR) to patch bugs or resolve complex standard product issues. [1]
Technical Liaison: Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDD) and partner with technical teams to develop or debug custom reports, interfaces, and system extensions. [1, 2]
Qualifications
Experience: 6 to 9+ years of solid hands-on experience in Oracle EBS R12 Finance modules.
Core Modules: In-depth configuration and troubleshooting expertise in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), Order Management (OM), Purchasing (PO), Inventory (INV) and Subledger Accounting (SLA).
India Tax Domain: Mandatory hands-on experience with Oracle Financials for India (OFI) setup, GST taxation lines, tax accounting, and statutory returns.
Support Background: Strong background working in a production support, multi-currency, or managed services environment utilizing ticketing tools like ServiceNow or Jira.
Methodology: Familiarity with AIM or OUM project lifecycle documentation standards (e.g., BR100, MD050, TE040). [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]
