We’re looking for a Developer to join us at Telia.
I’m Tom Næss, Head of Telia Smart Connect, and I’m searching for someone ready to grow with us. We’re a supportive, forward-thinking team responsible for an award-winning B2B call center solution. What you’ll do:
You will build and improve reliable backend services, working with modern development practices to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions.
Develop and maintain Web/UI and backend services
Design and optimize data solutions using SQL databases and/or MongoDB
Build for scale by improving system performance, caching, reliability, and maintainability
Strengthen application security by identifying vulnerabilities and applying secure coding practices
Collaborate through Git-based workflows, code reviews, pull requests, and shared engineering standards
Contribute across the development lifecycle, from technical design and implementation to testing, deployment, and continuous improvement
What will help you thrive in this role:
You are a collaborative and self-driven developer who works effectively both independently and as part of a team, and who proactively asks for help when needed.
Must have
Strong experience with PHP and/or Golang
Experience working with SQL databases and/or MongoDB
Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
Experience working in collaborative software development teams using Git, including code reviews, pull requests, and team-based development workflows
Ability to work independently while proactively asking for help when needed
Preferred
Experience building high-traffic systems where scalability, caching, and performance optimization are important
Experience identifying and fixing security vulnerabilities
Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security
Experience with Linux
Nice to have
Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience with Vue.js
Good knowledge of HTML/CSS
Experience with Docker

Monthly salary range for this position 4320 – 6480 Eur (gross) + annual performance bonus. Although it may vary depending on your skills and experience.
