You as a Quality Coordinator will:
Plan and Support Verification
Confirm that approved drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, benchmarks, and other prerequisites are in place before verification.
Identify gaps that could affect inspections, testing, or verification and escalate concerns early.
Participate in First Installation Reviews (FIRs), mock-ups, and pre-installation meetings to confirm expectations and acceptance criteria.
Support Quality Program Implementation
Conduct field reviews to confirm that required controls, inspections, testing, hold points, checklists, and benchmarks are being used as planned.
Help maintain consistent application of quality requirements across assigned scopes of work.
Monitor recurring deficiencies, missed checks, incomplete records, and other signs that requirements are not being consistently applied.
Track deficiencies and non-conformances through resolution, including follow-up actions and closure evidence.
Review and Communicate
Review inspection records, testing results, checklists, and field documentation for completeness, accuracy, and connection to the applicable work scope.
Provide status updates on completed, outstanding, and at-risk verification activities.
Communicate recurring issues, quality concerns, and emerging risks to the Quality Lead and project team.
Maintain Quality Records
Build and maintain complete, organized, and traceable verification packages and turnover records throughout project execution.
Identify and resolve documentation gaps early to support progressive turnover and project closeout.
Is this the right role for you?
Construction-related diploma, degree, or equivalent experience.
Experience in construction, quality, inspection, project coordination, document control, commissioning support, or related project delivery roles is considered an asset.
Working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
Experience using construction management or project documentation software is an asset.
Ability to obtain and maintain the Government of Canada security clearance required for assigned projects.
The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000.
