IT M&A is a dedicated team supporting private equity firms, portfolio companies, corporates, and small and mid-sized businesses with IT due diligence, separation, transition, and integration throughout the transaction lifecycle. We work closely with PwC's other Deals teams to give clients unique perspectives on their transactions. We are a team that values different perspectives and prioritise sharing knowledge to strengthen our community.
How you contribute to our shared success
As a Senior Associate, you contribute to tasks across the deal lifecycle – from IT, software, and cyber due diligence and carve-out planning to Transaction Service Agreements (TSA), and Day-1 support. You work closely with experienced consultants who support your growth, while gaining exposure to clients' IT experts.
Your tasks will include:
contributing to engagements, with growing responsibility as you develop
participating in IT, software, and cybersecurity due diligence activities, including data collection, documentation review, and management interviews
preparing detailed reports and presentations articulating findings, risks, and opportunities for internal teams and client stakeholders
identifying and assess IT-related risks and synergies impacting transaction value and integration planning
Although IT M&A is the focus, you should also be prepared to engage in more traditional IT consulting such as digital transformations, IT and digital strategy, and similar consulting engagements.

We know you can't do everything in advance. Therefore, the most important thing for us is:
have min. three years of experience, either as a consultant or from IT projects in a corporate environment
have shown interest in areas such as IT due diligence, carve-out and integration, IT operations, cybersecurity, or IT infrastructure
value working in a structured and analytical way with complex issues
are curious and motivated by learning new things in a professionally strong community
thrive on collaborating with colleagues and clients in a fast-paced environment
