Senior Specialist, Middle Office

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialist to join our Cash Operations Team, sitting in the Investment Operations area of the Front Offices Services Platform.
Front Office Services is a recently new and evolving area of the business that continues to expand its client base. The team work directly with external Investment Managers to support investment activity. This role provides broad exposure to investment operations, cash management, and front office activity. This role is located in Manchester, UK.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Supporting effective and controlled management of daily cash activities for clients
Support clients in the execution of their core activities by ensuring the provision of accurate and timely information
Liaise with clients, internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational issues
Work closely with the reconciliations team to ensure all breaks are kept to a minimum and where required resolved or escalated as necessary
To gain a broad understanding of Investment operations functions, the wider Front Office Services team
Maintain effective and positive client relationship standards
To assist with the development of the Investment Operations function to provide effective services to clients.
Contribute to process improvement
Support internal and external projects where necessary
Maintain a gold standard risk and control environment within the team
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Experience working within Investment Management operations.
Strong understanding of cash management processes and operational controls
Ability to manage sensitive priorities in a fast-paced environment, working with internal and external stakeholders
Strong communication skills
