Profiling/Flooring Machine Operator

We're looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Profiling/Flooring Machine Operator to join our production team in Clarion, United States. In this role, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our flooring profiling line equipment, ensuring consistent quality output while maintaining a well-organized and clean workspace. You'll work collaboratively with maintenance personnel and fellow operators to support continuous production operations and drive operational excellence on our manufacturing floor.
Safely operate, set up, and adjust profiling and flooring line equipment according to production specifications and customer requirements
Monitor and manipulate computer software systems to track orders, input data, and manage production line operations
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of all machinery and workspaces within your assigned area of responsibility
Identify and analyze conditions that may lead to substandard quality or equipment downtime, and initiate appropriate corrective actions
Document production issues, quality concerns, and equipment performance on required logs and reports
Conduct troubleshooting of equipment malfunctions and work collaboratively with maintenance personnel to resolve issues efficiently
Assist other machine operators and maintenance staff with equipment repairs and preventive maintenance activities as requested
Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality, including flexibility to work rotating 12-hour shifts
Adhere to all safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and plant regulations to ensure a safe work environment
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status, equipment concerns, and process improvements
Proficiency in basic computer skills, including the ability to understand and operate production line software programs
Demonstrated ability to set up, operate, troubleshoot, and adjust profiling equipment and related machinery
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify root causes of production issues and document findings accurately
Physical capability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly and perform repetitive motions
Ability to bend, lift, stand, kneel, and move for extended periods of time on the production floor
Comfortable working on a concrete production floor and utilizing stairs and elevated work areas
Hand and finger dexterity to operate equipment, tools, and control systems safely and effectively
Excellent attendance record and demonstrated reliability
Willingness and ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset to address production challenges
Collaborative approach to working with team members and maintenance personnel
Commitment to following safety protocols and standard operating procedures
Preferred: Previous experience operating production line equipment or flooring/profiling machinery
Preferred: Experience with equipment troubleshooting and preventive maintenance activities
