Team Member - CT Marketing
Purpose of Role: Drive container terminal business growth by acquiring customers, managing relationships, increasing cargo volumes, and achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and acquire new customers for container terminal services.
Promote port services and build the company's market presence.
Achieve cargo volume and revenue targets.
Register customers such as CHAs, CFSs, and ICDs on the terminal operating system (TOS).
Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities.
Prepare commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and close new business deals.
Manage customer relationships and resolve operational or commercial issues.
Build strong relationships with shipping lines, CHAs, BCOs, vessel agents, freight forwarders, and cargo owners.
Educate customers on port operations, TOS, customs processes, DPD, and DPE procedures.
Promote DPD (Direct Port Delivery) and DPE (Direct Port Entry) services.
Follow up on outstanding customer payments and ensure timely collections.
Stay updated with digital tools and AI-driven business practices.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience in Port Sales, Container Terminal Marketing, Business Development, Logistics, Shipping, Freight Forwarding, ICD/CFS Operations, or Supply Chain Sales.
Good understanding of container business, EXIM trade, customs procedures, DPD/DPE, shipping lines, and logistics ecosystem.
Strong skills in client acquisition, contract negotiation, stakeholder management, and revenue generation.
Experience working with ports, terminals, logistics companies, shipping lines, CHAs, freight forwarders, ICDs, or CFSs.
