Role Overview
As a Registered Nurse in our Substance Abuse unit, you will provide direct nursing care to patients, ensuring their safety and well-being. You will play a critical role in developing and implementing individualized care plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and guiding support staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

What You Will Do
Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
Identify and prioritize individualized patient needs based on assessments.
Develop and implement written care plans, defining interventions and patient outcomes.
Collaborate with caregivers to plan appropriate discharges or transfers.
Coordinate patient care to ensure timely procedures, treatments, and referrals.
Guide Unit Techs in providing care for assigned patients.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
Licensed as a registered nurse in the State of Michigan.
Basic Life Support Provider certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) within 120 days of hire/transfer date.
CPI certification within 120 days of employment and maintain current certification thereafter.
Associates degree in Nursing.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of two (2) years work experience as a BSN, RN, or LPN.
RN with some substance use understanding.
