Field Services Technician

As our Field Services Technician, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize Air Liquide equipment and installations at with a focus on electronics customer sites across Flanders. How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
In this role, you represent Air Liquide on the front line—maintaining high equipment reliability and building trust with our customers.
Core Responsibilities:
Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on gas equipment (Bulk, On-Site, package gas, and Cryo installations) in accordance with safety and quality standards.
Troubleshooting & Repairs: Analyze equipment failures, identify root cause, perform effective mechanical/electrical repairs, and coordinate with subcontractors when required.
Project Support: Assist project teams with assembling, dismantling, and commissioning new or retrofit customer installations.
Data & Reporting: Register performed hours and spare parts, write intervention reports, and secure customer sign-offs after work completion.
Safety & Compliance: Strictly observe safety protocols (Zero Safety Incident goal), quality controls, and environmental guidelines (ISO 14001).
On-Call Availability: Participate in a rotated on-call schedule to support emergency interventions outside regular business hours.
Are you a MATCH?
Technical & Practical Skills
Education: Higher secondary technical degree in Electromechanics, Mechanics, Automation, or an equivalent technical field.
Languages: Fluent in Dutch (essential for customer communication in Flanders) and practical (pre-intermediate) English.
Experience: Strong background in industrial maintenance, system troubleshooting, and reading technical schematics.
Systems & Tools: Familiarity with maintenance software, basic digital tools (Google Workspace), and telemetry applications (is an added value).
Driving License: Valid driver’s license (B) for travel across the region.
