Job Description
Overview
We are seeking talented individuals for our Water Team to work on diverse sewerage projects that deliver sustainable benefits to communities and the environment. This role involves hydraulic modelling (1D-2D) and engineering aspects of wastewater projects.
Your role
Work as part of Atkins’ Urban Drainage Modelling (UDM) team.
Handle projects related to sewerage/storm network modelling, drainage infrastructure design, and planning.
Ensure high standards and right-first-time delivery.
Take ownership of personal and junior team members' work.
Support technical development of graduates and technicians through knowledge sharing.
About you
Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Master's in Water Resource/Environmental Engineering from a recognized university.
2–4 years of experience in the water and wastewater consultancy industry.
Demonstrable experience in network design or hydraulic modelling.
Proficiency in design or hydraulic modelling software (preferably InfoWorks CS/2D/ICM, Windes, or Bentley suite).
Knowledge of GIS tools (e.g., MapInfo, ArcGIS).
Excellent report writing skills and fluency in English.
Desired Qualifications
Value addition through innovations and automation in project delivery.
Knowledge of Visual Basic and GIS automation (MapBasics, Python, etc.).
