The position is part of Global Security team. Business continuity and Crisis Management team works closely with the Leadership, Business and Shared service teams. The team ensures that the BCM risks are understood, addressed and deviations reported proactively thus maintaining healthy BCMS culture at the region level.
Providing SME oversight and strategic direction to the span for Business Continuity, Crisis Management and Disaster Recovery
Ownership and implementation in line with Business Continuity and Crisis Management Framework and associated procedures
Ensuring compliance to contractual obligations duly highlighting risk areas (if any)
Ensuring Business continuity plans are completed at site/ location/ geo levels and maintained at predefined periodicity
Understand dependencies for business processes, business functions, applications, technology, and internal /external parties related to the business
Ensuring engagement specific business continuity requirements are met in line with the contractual requirements, needful strategies and plans are in place and arrangements tested at agreed periodicity
Engaging with client teams and providing the right solution apt to the BCM requirements of the client
Ensuring Risks are identified and highlighted at account/ location/ geo levels
Driving special projects to enhance organizations BCM arrangements and enhanced compliance requirements and are completed in a timely manner
Ensuring alignment of Geo level BCM arrangements to the requirements of standard ISO 22301 and certification (where agreed with management) thereof
Providing strategic direction on BCM arrangements during client connects
Complete all assigned, mandatory training within the timeframe provided
Conduct and/or participate in regularly scheduled 1:1 meetings with direct manager and/or direct reports
