Director-Smart Connected Systems & Solutions
As the Director, Smart Connected Systems & Solutions, you will be responsible for service and solutions strategy (along with Service Marketing), develop roadmap and execute on service solutions for IGT cluster. You will lead a complete Serviceability team comprising Sr Managers, Architects and R&D Product Manager.
You will strategize and deliver to all IGTS programs and initiatives for service solutions. You will also contribute to the technical innovation of the product and/or systems which the teams are accountable for by providing insights, hands-on technical reviews and continuous feedback.
Your role:
Refine/Prioritize Service & Solutions offering roadmap.
Lead to define and create System Service architecture & technical solutions for roadmaps.
Lead to define & create smart connectivity architecture, roadmap & solutions.
Support NPI teams for leveraging Service solutions on Programs per Systems Roadmap.
Lead to define, deliver & monitor product independent service solutions to the market.
You will be a part of the IGT-S R&D organization, which is responsible for developing and delivering service and solutions for the Image Guided Therapy Systems (IGTS) business.
You will report to IGTS CRC Cluster leader and Site leader PIC. You will work in a dynamic and collaborative environment with a team of passionate and talented professionals who share the vision of a better tomorrow.
You are fit if:
You have a BS/MS in engineering and 15+ years of relevant (leadership + technical) experience in managing large SW projects.
Strategy and execution: You can execute on the organization’s strategy, providing clearly defined success criteria and levels of accountability for individuals in the team. You can remove impediments for the progress of the teams and act as escalation point.
Quality and craftsmanship: You can consistently deliver high-quality software at a sustainable speed, maintaining an advanced level of software craftsmanship as established by the SW CoE. You can ensure adherence to all applicable development processes, legal, quality, security and regulatory requirements.
People leadership and culture: You can develop high performing teams, using best in class practices regarding recruitment and selection, adequate staffing, remuneration, goal setting and performance appraisals and people development. You can drive an engaged, innovative, and inspiring working environment in the teams by motivating, challenging and coaching employees.
Technical engagement and collaboration: You can stay up-to-date on the relevant technology domain. You can enjoy self-learning and bring new technical practices and innovations to the team. You can collaborate with relevant internal and external parties establishing an effective network to obtain input on technological developments, identifying trends and opportunities.
Operational excellence, processes and decision making: You can execute on continuous improvement in processes and ways of working to achieve operational excellence. You can make informed business and technical decisions quickly as the result of well-directed data gathering, effective analysis and good judgement. You can balance the tension between daily tasks and the long-term strategic vision of the organization. You can translate the organization's business goals, customer/ market needs and technical strategy (in accordance with the Health Suite Reference Architecture - Solutions oriented, Cloud, DevOps, etc.) into a transformation plan and drive this across the teams.
How we work together:
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This role is an office-based role.
