Packaging Operator VI

Effectively sets up production lines across all three value streams and provides assistance to peers with troubleshooting and set ups. This individual will also have the skills and knowledge to cross over and assist/backup the maintenance team with troubleshooting and performing maintenance related tasks.
Responsibilities

Effectively setup production lines across all three value streams.
Monitor and maintain above target OEE performance across the production floor.
Assists peers with troubleshooting and provides a deeper understanding of the root cause.
Works with cross functional groups to resolve reoccurring issues to improve and sustain overall performance on a production line.
Backs up maintenance for troubleshooting issues and performing higher level repairs.
Performs higher level vision system troubleshooting and resolves issues in a timely manner.
Initiate and lead 5S improvements across entire production floor.
Identifies and follows up on improvement opportunities and works with cross functional groups to implement and sustain the improvements.

High school education or equivalent. Having a technical certificate or degree is preferred.
Electro/Mechanical experience, skills and knowledge required.
Previous technical experience with packaging equipment is preferred.
Has a higher level of knowledge on vision system faults and resolutions.
Must be a Packing Line Technician for a minimum for three years or have equivalent experience.
Works closely with the production schedule and understands line priorities while working with minimal/limited supervision.
