Learning Management Systems Specialist

Position Summary
The Culture and Talent Development COE is seeking a proactive, analytical, and improvement-oriented professional to join our team as a Learning Management Systems Specialist.
This role is responsible for ensuring the effective administration and continuous improvement of our learning ecosystem, with a primary focus on Workday Learning. Beyond day-to-day operational activities, the successful candidate will actively identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve the learner experience, enhance data quality, and optimize system capabilities.
The ideal candidate combines strong operational discipline with a continuous improvement mindset. They enjoy working with systems, data, and processes, while also collaborating with stakeholders across HR, HRIS, and the broader learning community. Responsibilities
Learning Systems Administration
Manage learning data, documentation, configurations, courses, campaigns, programs, pathways, and content within Workday Learning.
Support LMS administration activities, including EIB uploads, offering scheduling, audience management, content updates, and access management.
Monitor data quality and ensure compliance with established learning governance standards.
Process Improvement & HRIS Collaboration
Identify, recommend, and implement improvements to learning processes, tools, workflows, and user experience.
Partner with HRIS to optimize Workday Learning functionality and support testing, validation, deployment, and integrations.
Analyze recurring issues and define sustainable solutions that improve efficiency, scalability, and best practices.
Stakeholder Consulting
Partner with HR, business leaders, and learning stakeholders to understand needs and provide guidance on learning solutions, system capabilities, and best practices, building the Global learning community.
Act as a trusted advisor for Workday Learning questions and lead office hours or stakeholder engagement sessions.
Content & Learning Program Support
Support the creation and maintenance of learning programs, development pathways, campaigns, and digital learning content using tools such as Synthesia.
Collaborate with content owners, certified practitioners, and the Culture and Talent Development team to manage learning experiences and initiatives.
Reporting & Analytics
Develop reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, and Workday reporting capabilities to support learning decisions.
Analyze learner engagement, completion rates, campaign effectiveness, and trends to provide recommendations for improvement.
Communication & Knowledge Management
Maintain learning-related SharePoint sites, documentation, job aids, FAQs, and communications on system updates or changes.
Support HR Help Desk activities related to learning and development employee and stakeholder inquiries.
Project & Change Management
Lead and support projects related to learning systems, learner experience, process improvement, and adoption of new tools or solutions.
Coordinate activities across HR, HRIS, and external vendors when required.
Problem Solving & Innovation
Independently investigate and resolve operational or system issues while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience.
Leverage internal and external networks to identify best practices and innovative solutions.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or a related field.
Experience
2+ years of experience in HR, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, HR Operations, HR Systems, or related areas.
Experience with HR technologies, learning systems, enterprise platforms, Workday Learning, or other Learning Management Systems is preferred.
Experience driving process improvements or participating in system projects is highly desirable.
Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a continuous improvement mindset and ability to challenge existing processes constructively.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, organization, project coordination, documentation, and knowledge management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across global teams, balancing operational details with broader business objectives.
Proficiency with Excel, technical aptitude to learn new systems quickly, and interest in developing a career within Learning & Development and Talent Development.
