Shields Health Solutions is redefining patient care through specialty pharmacy. We’re hiring a Pharmacy Technician - Outreach Eligibility Specialist to support the growth of the specialty pharmacy program by identifying eligible patients, completing benefits investigations, and maintaining strict confidentiality.
What You’ll Do:
Conduct benefits investigations using approved tools and pharmacy systems.
Review medical records to confirm current medication needs.
Document all findings clearly and accurately.
Partner with team members to ensure high‑quality, coordinated patient care.
Identify trends, solve problems, and contribute to process improvements.
Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ongoing job knowledge.
Perform other duties as needed.

What You Need:
State-registered (Louisiana) Pharmacy Technician; CPhT preferred
1+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician; High School Diploma or GED
Strong communication, organization, and tech skills

Solid computer skills are required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) for communication, documentation, and data management, as well as, navigating the internet and web-based platforms.
