Facility and Security Services Manager

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facility Manager to oversee the management, maintenance, security, and continuous improvement of our four manufacturing sites (Pavia di Udine, Martignacco, Fagagna and Colloredo di Monte Albano). The role combines strong leadership capabilities, technical expertise, and operational excellence, with responsibility for both internal resources and external service providers.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the internal Facility & Maintenance team (ca. 5 associates), ensuring effective organization, prioritization, and performance.
Oversee the maintenance and management of buildings, infrastructures, utilities, technical systems, and workplace services across all sites.
Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring high standards of reliability, safety, and business continuity.
Manage Landlord representatives, external contractors and service providers, including performance monitoring, cost control, and compliance with agreed service levels.
Coordinate facility-related projects, investments, and continuous improvement initiatives, from planning through implementation.
Manage energy consumption and CO2 emissions and identify opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction.
Oversee site security and surveillance, including access control, CCTV systems, visitor management, security procedures, and coordination with external security providers.
Ensure appropriate emergency preparedness and business continuity measures are in place.
Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, HSE-dpt., Operations, Engineering, Human Resources, Purchasing, Controlling and other functions to ensure that facilities effectively support business requirements.
Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, company policies, technical standards, and internal procedures.
The Facility Manager will play a key role in ensuring operational continuity, workplace efficiency, security, and the continuous improvement of the company’s facilities.
Target report is with the Italian / Greek Global Real Estate Cluster Leader; disciplinary report is with the Plant Manager.
The ideal candidate combines a solid technical background with proven managerial and organizational skills. Experience in a manufacturing environment and in managing multiple sites is highly desirable. Strong communication and negotiation skills, a hands-on approach, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.
Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in Facility Management, HSE Management, Civil Engineering/Construction, or related fields, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Solid knowledge of the applicable regulatory framework, including occupational health & safety and environmental legislation (e.g. relevant Health & Safety and Environmental Codes/Acts), as well as applicable building and technical regulations.
Proven experience in team leadership and people management, combined with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Experience in managing multiple external suppliers and contractors, including contract and performance management.
Good understanding of facility-related technical systems, maintenance, infrastructure, and construction projects.
Strong awareness and experience in site security, surveillance, access control, and emergency management.
Fluent English and Italian language skills, both written and spoken; German language skills are considered a plus.
Ability to work effectively in a multifunctional and international team environment, collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders across different functions and locations.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a hands-on and proactive approach.
