Your Primary Focus — Phone Scheduling and receptionist duties:
Answer incoming calls promptly, professionally, and warmly — you're the first voice patients hear
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments with accuracy, efficiency, and care
Greet patients warmly when they arrive and assist as needed with check-in and out for visits
Address patient questions about appointments, procedures, insurance, and billing both over the phone and in-person
Build rapport over the phone — patients should feel heard, valued, and excited about their upcoming visits
Manage the scheduling system to ensure appointments are accurate and the schedule runs smoothly
Patient Payments: take patient payments at check in or check out and accurately record them in the patient record
Supporting the Office:
Manage patient records to ensure all information is current and precise
Process patient payments accurately and professionally
Support the team with filing, scanning, data entry, and other administrative tasks as needed
Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and teammates — clear communication is everything
Schedule & Pay:
Full-Time Position: 38-40 hours per week
Hours: Monday–Friday scheduling typically 7:30-4:30
Starting Pay: $18.50–$19.50/hour based on experience and performance
Note: Schedule may adjust for Federal holidays and staff vacation coverage

Required:
Strong customer service experience (retail, hospitality, or similar environments count!). Prefer at least 18 months in a medical, med spa or dental setting
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Willingness to learn and grow in a medical setting
Preferred:
Prior experience in a medical office or patient-facing healthcare environment
Familiarity with scheduling software or patient management systems
Basic understanding of medical insurance and billing concepts
