Assists in establishing and maintaining organizational functions. Coordinates all Production Support services to ensure timely and accurate data entry in all reporting functions. Prepares and distributes reports and meeting minutes. Maintains computerized statistical records on product produced and rejected. Creates and tracks Purchase Orders. Performs various administrative and clerical support functions for manufacturing and Human Resources. May also act as receptionist.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Creates and tracks plant purchase orders, tracks receiving of those purchase orders.
Maintains computerized manufacturing records; tracks production/rejection statistics.
Provides administrative and clerical support to HR & all Manufacturing personnel, including plant phone, employee communications, copying, filing, etc.
Provides information and assists employees with questions/concerns.
Performs timesheet audits and tracking of attendance violations.
Helps with New Hire Orientations.
Attends various meetings, records events, copies and distributes meeting minutes. Tracks Accountability Board metrics.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Actively participate in all plant safety programs.
Responsible for daily production data entry and maintaining production related files and reports.
Will be knowledgeable with cycle counting so they can assist shipping with counts as needed.
Month End activities. Including: preparing and sending scrap (ground and unground) counts to shipping on the day of the counts; ensuring all workorders are at a 10 or 95 status on the day of month-end (Saturday); and preparing and sending production reports to Corporate by the Monday following month-end.
Education
High school graduate/GED required. Some college or business school coursework preferred.
Experience
Minimum of one year experience in manufacturing office environment.
Skills/Abilities
Proficiency with personal computers, word processing, spreadsheets, etc., accurate data entry and effective oral and written communication skills required. Must be able to handle multiple priorities and frequent interruptions.
Other
Knowledge of manufacturing policies and procedures preferred. Standard manufacturing office environment, subject to high noise levels, dust, some variation in temperature.
