We are looking for: Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician
Compensation: The pay range for this position is $25.00-$40.00/hr based on skillset and experience.
Proposed Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8a-530p
The Internal Medicine team is constantly working with our internists to provide information to our clients regarding patient care, updates and treatments. This is one department that focuses on relationship building as patient care is longer in duration. If you want to combine your love of animals and clients, this is the department for you!
What you’ll do:
Set up constant rate infusions (CRI).
Calculates all medical math including advanced and CRI (mcg/mg, %/mg, etc).
Induce, monitor and recover patients from anesthesia
Set up for ultrasound and radiology procedures.
Set up and assist with endoscopic procedures (GI, nasal, urinary, airway).
