What You'll Build
You will build Agent Evaluation as a Service, Agent Optimization as a Service, and the MLflow-backed experiment layer that ties them together—plus the Metering Platform that bills those workloads on SAP AI Core. Evaluation as a Service will run systematic checks of prompts and agents against labeled datasets: traces, scorers, LLM-as-judge, tool-call correctness, groundedness, and regression suites so silent agent failures are caught before production. Optimization as a Service will close the loop: refine prompts and agent behavior against those metrics, write winners to the Prompt Registry, and keep workflows model-agnostic across Generative AI Hub models. You will wire MLflow-style tracking (runs, params, metrics, traces) so teams compare versions in AI Launchpad and feed scores into the next optimization. You will also design Python/Go backends that meter every eval and optimization run, close billing leaks, and stay observable and fault-tolerant on Kubernetes and Argo. You will document architecture, join agile rituals, and grow metering plus eval/optimize domain skill. Outcome: a reliable evaluate–optimize–bill platform that application teams can trust when they embed Generative AI Hub and AI Core.
What You Bring
You bring 8–14 years of backend development and a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or a related field. You are proficient in Python and Go and have shipped microservices and REST APIs. You know Kubernetes and Argo Workflows, and have used AWS, GCP, or Azure. You have worked with experiment tracking or eval tooling and can reason about agent quality: datasets, LLM-as-judge, tool-call correctness, and prompt/agent optimization loops. You solve data-consistency and billing problems with care. You work well with global teams and learn metering, GenAI Hub evaluation/optimization, and AI-platform domains quickly. Nice to have: CI/CD, observability, distributed systems, Prompt Registry, SAP AI Core or Launchpad.
