We're looking for a Technical Expert – Facilities & Utilities to provide technical leadership for critical site utility and facility systems, ensuring reliable, compliant, and efficient operations while driving continuous improvement across the site. This is a days based position.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert and System Owner for designated facilities and utilities systems, ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable operation. (i.e Plant Steam, Water for Injection, Pure Steam, Compressed Air, Refrigeration/Ventilation)
Develop and implement maintenance, reliability, and asset lifecycle strategies to maximise equipment performance and availability.
Lead technical troubleshooting, root cause investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
Support CAPEX projects, including commissioning, qualification, and handover of new equipment and infrastructure.
Manage relationships with OEMs, contractors, and specialist service providers while mentoring and developing engineering colleagues.
Ensure compliance with GMP, engineering, statutory, and EHS requirements, maintaining audit readiness across assigned systems.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Experience from a similar facilities and utilities focussed role in a manufacturing environment. (i.e Plant Steam, Water for Injection, Pure Steam, Compressed Air, Refrigeration/Ventilation)
We would also consider more junior candidates who have some experience in a similar role alongside a relevant degree.
Curious, able to problem solve, and willing to learn and develop.
