Job Summary
Responsible for recruiting, dispatching, and managing craft employees in specific Service Line that's been assigned (e.g. Critical Electrical, Structural, Mechanical, Coatings, Scaffold, Soft Crafts, Underground Maintenance and Installation or UMI, Inspection, Service, etc.). Assists Craft Supervision as needed to ensure profitable, safe, timely and quality project execution. Assists Regional and Area Management teams in coordinating daily, weekly, and monthly activities.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for all aspects of the Service Line, providing support to Project leadership as necessary in addressing issues related to cost, quality, planning, or customer concerns.
Oversee recruiting, dispatching and management of all craft employees, including general superintendents, site superintendents, area superintendents, general foreman, foreman, and all craft specific to the assigned Service Line (e.g. Critical Electrical would Include Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians, Control Techs, etc.)
Understand competency management of all trades within the applicable Service Line scopes of work in order to maximize in-house personnel.
Support estimating effort through bid reviews and constructability reviews, including review of activity productions, crew makeup, equipment selection and cost analysis.
Responsible for ensuring all safety and environmental requirements are met.
Ensure craft management staff are appropriately coordinating all labor, equipment, and subcontractor resources with Project Management staff and other Loenbro resources to ensure timely, cost-effective completion of projects.
Teach Craft Supervision how to generate and manage a 3 week and 6 week look ahead schedule to ensure manpower, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and all resources are scheduled appropriately.
Assures all employees within the team know and follow the company safety and work rules and policies.
Knowledge of national and local code requirements relevant to this discipline
