As a Senior Corporate Actuarial Advisor, you will play a key role in financial analysis, risk management, and strategic decision-making, directly supporting the Corporate Finance and Actuarial Vice Presidency.

What You’ll Accomplish with Us
As a Senior Corporate Actuarial Advisor, you will be at the heart of our mission. Key responsibilities include:
Evaluate technical reserves in accordance with recognized standards and industry best practices;
Prepare the Appointed Actuary’s Report and actuarial financial statements;
Perform financial projections (premiums, claims, commissions, etc.) to support business planning;
Contribute to capital analyses (DCAT/ESF, ORSA) and risk modeling activities;
Analyze product profitability and provide optimization recommendations;
Contribute to the design and optimization of reinsurance programs;
Develop and monitor actuarial performance indicators while contributing to the continuous improvement of practices and processes;
Coordinate actuarial activities and deliverables with governance bodies;
Act as a subject matter expert by supporting the team in resolving complex issues and prioritizing work;
Produce strategic analyses to support decision-making;
Work closely with partners to align actuarial direction with organizational priorities.

What Could Help You Succeed in This Role
We are looking for someone who has:
A bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science;
A minimum of 4 years of actuarial experience in Property and Casualty Insurance;
Excellent knowledge of actuarial standards and practices;
Strong financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills;
A strong understanding of actuarial standards and industry best practices;
Good knowledge of Excel and the Microsoft Office suite, as well as statistical programming tools (SAS or equivalent) and Power BI;
FCAS/FICA designation (strong asset);
Advanced proficiency in French. Intermediate proficiency in English is also required to occasionally interact with unilingual English-speaking partners (approximately 15% of the time).
