Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join us as a Second Shift Electronic Technician 2 based on-site in Rolling Meadows, IL.
What You Will Get To Do:
Under close supervision, perform routine technical functions related to the testing and troubleshooting of production hardware. Applications may include analog, digital, and logic systems. Guidance is readily available from test engineers and senior technicians.
Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, and defined electronic work instructions to perform testing, checkout, troubleshooting, or environmental testing.
Diagnose and isolate malfunction down to the component level.
Conduct tests, collects data and records results as defined.
Utilize diagnostic equipment including oscilloscope, VOM, DVM, signal generators, and similar test apparatus.
Basic Qualifications for the Electronic Technician 2:
High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 2 years of relevant electronics experience; OR an Associate's degree in Electronics with 0 years of experience.
ACTIVE Secret Clearance Required
U.S. citizenship required
Experience in MS Office
Second shift position
Preferred Qualifications:
Military technical school
RF Test experience
Component level troubleshooting experience
Experience with SAP
Experience with GOLD

Primary Level Salary Range: $53,500.00 - $89,100.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
