Role Description This full-time, on-site Sales Officer role is based in Krishnanagar. The Sales Officer is responsible for identifying and approaching potential customers, explaining banking products and services, and converting leads into successful accounts or loans. The role involves managing daily sales operations, coordinating with channel partners, and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities. The Sales Officer will provide responsive customer service, address inquiries, and help resolve basic issues to ensure a positive experience. The position requires meeting sales targets, following compliance guidelines, and collaborating with branch teams to support overall business growth.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Communication skills to engage effectively with diverse customers.
Candidates should possess Lead Generation and Sales Operations skills to drive new business and manage the sales process efficiently.
Candidates should possess Channel Sales skills to work with partners and local networks for business expansion.
Relevant experience in retail banking, financial services, or field sales is beneficial.
Ability to work on-site in Krishnanagar, meet targets, and maintain high ethical and compliance standards.
Basic understanding of banking products (accounts, loans, deposits) and local market dynamics is preferred.
Minimum educational qualification: a graduate degree in any discipline; additional certifications in sales or finance are an advantage.
