The Harry Potter Shop Chicago is hiring holiday seasonal associates!
We are hiring seasonal associates for the following departments:
Sales Associate (Cash handling, guest experience, etc.)
Inventory Operations Associate (Handle shipments and inventory replenishments)
Length of Employment:
Beginning of November 2026 - January 9th, 2027
Part-Time Position- Average of 20-24 hours per week
Requirements:
Minimum 6 months experience working at a retail store
Minimum 6 months experience with cash handling and customer service or inventory/BOH responsibilities
Knowledge of Harry Potter series and background
Demonstrated customer service skills
Excellent communication skills (i.e. verbal, non-verbal, visual) with the ability to communicate effectively in public to both small and large groups.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong attention to detail with focus on basic numerical skills
Highly motivated self-starter with good initiative
Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Must have open availability for a flexible work schedule that meets the operating needs of the business, including mornings, afternoons and evenings, holidays, and weekend shifts
Must be eligible to legally work in the United States
Ability to work weekends, holidays, early mornings, evenings, and varying shifts.

Since you do not have a reserved time, please plan for an hour plus wait time after checking in as reservations will have priority.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in Chicago. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Rate: $19 per hour.
