Title:Executive Personal Accountant
Job Description:
NOW HIRING: Executive Personal Accountant
Compensation: $130,000-$150,000 per year
Job Overview
The Executive Personal Accountant is responsible for managing the financial records, compliance, and reporting for the executive’s personal items, ensuring accuracy, adherence to company policy, and alignment with corporate accounting standards. This role supports executive decision-making by providing timely, reliable financial data and maintaining compliance with tax and reporting regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate accounting records for the executive’s personal items, including expenses, reimbursements, and asset tracking.
Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly financial reports for executive review and management.
Ensure compliance with company policy, tax laws, and reporting standards for personal items.
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Coordinate with procurement, HR, and finance teams to process reimbursements and asset transfers.
Prepare tax documentation for personal items as required.
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to the executive on cost control and expense management.
Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to requests from internal or external auditors.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to manage sensitive financial data.
Strong communication skills for reporting to executives.
Experience with executive-level accounting or personal expense management is a plus.
Experience
Minimum 3–5 years in accounting, with experience in executive or personal expense accounting.
Experience with audit coordination and compliance reporting.
