Smokehouse Machine Operator - 1st Shift (10 Hours)

Shift: 6:00 AM-6:00 PM
Hourly Rate: $19.50 an hour
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will monitor and troubleshoot the operation of production equipment to ensure continuous production at our Macomb, MI facility producing Duke's Meat Snacks. You will join a team of over 50 associates.
Shift Hours & Days: 6am-6pm Monday - Friday and at least every other Saturday depending on business need.
Location: 23 Mile Rd. and Hayes, Macomb MI
Hourly Rate: $19.50 + $0.50 raise after 90 days
Benefits start on day one of employment.
Pay is weekly.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
You will operate a variety of machines and production equipment.
You will monitor and troubleshoot production equipment to support continuous operations.
You will supply production lines to ensure a continuous production flow.
You will perform product quality checks to help ensure products meet consumer expectations.
You will collaborate with multiple departments to support production demands and maintain quality standards.
You will help maintain a clean work area in compliance with food safety and Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements.
You will support ongoing efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
You will cross-train on additional equipment and processes as needed.
Ingredients Required for Your Success
High School Diploma or GED.
1+ years experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook.
Willingness to cross-train across multiple production areas.
Physical Requirements
