Job Title: Senior Engineer

Overview
DB Global Technology, Inc. seeks a Senior Engineer in Cary, NC to develop and enhance modern electronic trading (e-trading) platforms as part of an Agile development team, taking ownership of the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, specification, and design, implementation and level-three production support. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent, and three (3) years of experience writing efficient, thread-safe, and memory-conscious code for high-performance systems using Java principles and features including Collections, Concurrency, I/O, Streams, Lambdas and Optional; developing robust RESTful APIs using Spring Boot including Dependency Injection and AOP; building data access layers using Spring Data JPA and ORMs including Hibernate by designing data models and managing entity relationships; securing applications using Spring Security and JWT (JSON Web Tokens) for stateless APIs; developing modern React frameworks using functional components and custom Hooks to encapsulate and reuse stateful logic across the application; containerizing Spring Boot backend and React frontend using Docker; setting up and maintaining Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions to automate the build, test, and deployment process for both frontend and backend services; deploying and configuring application components on Docker and orchestrating Kubernetes with helm charts; implementing performance testing, designing and executing load tests and stress tests, analyzing thread stacks, and performing SQL Query optimization and tuning; and monitoring OS related metrics including CPU, memory, and Disk I/O using iostat, nfsiostat and Nmon tools. Salary range: $132,000.00 – $165,000.00/year. This position is eligible for Deutsche Bank's Employee Referral Incentive Program.
