Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Business Intelligence Developer to join our Data & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-scale data warehouse solutions, modern cloud-based data platforms, and business intelligence environments.
This role requires expertise in data warehousing, dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT development, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and modern data engineering practices. The successful candidate must be a self-starter who can work independently while also collaborating effectively with business stakeholders, analysts, architects, and fellow engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise data warehouse solutions.
Build, optimize, and support ETL/ELT pipelines using modern data integration tools and frameworks.
Develop and maintain data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration processes in Microsoft Fabric.
Create and manage Fabric Data Engineering workloads including:
Data Pipelines
Dataflows Gen2
Notebooks
Lakehouses
Warehouses
Design and implement robust dimensional models (Star and Snowflake Schemas) to support reporting and analytics.
Develop complex T-SQL code including stored procedures, views, functions, and performance optimization.
Build and maintain Power BI semantic models, reports, dashboards, and DAX measures.
Develop data engineering solutions using Python and PySpark for large-scale data processing.
Monitor data quality, troubleshoot issues, and implement data governance best practices.
Collaborate with business users and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design discussions.
Support operational activities including deployment, monitoring, performance tuning, and production support.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills
5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, or Business Intelligence.
Extensive experience with:
SQL Server
T-SQL Development
SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
Enterprise Data Warehousing
Dimensional Modeling
Strong experience designing:

Snowflake Schemas
Fact and Dimension Tables

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
