Job Description
We’re looking for friendly, compassionate team players to join our culinary team!
As part of the dietary team, assist patients with menu selection and deliver their meals in a timely fashion. Provide excellent customer service to ensure every patient is satisfied with their meal.

Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our dining services team at our senior living community. The Dishwasher plays an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment for our residents and staff.
The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, works well as part of a team, and understands the importance of cleanliness and food safety when serving older adults.
Responsibilities
Wash, rinse, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
Maintain clean and organized dishwashing and kitchen areas.
Assist with keeping dining areas, floors, and workspaces clean and sanitary.
Properly operate and maintain the commercial dishwasher and related equipment.
Remove trash and recycling and keep disposal areas clean.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures.
Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation and other duties as needed.
Handle dishes and equipment carefully to prevent breakage and injury.
Maintain a respectful, friendly, and professional attitude when interacting with residents and coworkers.
Follow all facility policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant, healthcare, hospitality, or senior living environment is preferred but not required.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to cleanliness and safety.
Must be able to communicate effectively with coworkers and follow written and verbal instructions.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old
Must practice good personal hygiene and be neatly groomed in a uniform
Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
Preferred: Culinary experience (cook, commercial kitchen, fast food, hotel operations, healthcare)
Physical Requirements
Prolonged standing and walking continuously, frequent stooping, and bending and lifting up to 50 pounds
Must be able to operate equipment necessary to perform essential functions of the job
