We are looking for a Systems Integration Engineer who is passionate about complex multidisciplinary rail projects and enjoys solving problems and finding solutions that meet the needs of multiple stakeholders.
Your role
Lead systems integration activities during the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning phases.
Lead and facilitate working groups and interface workshops.
Develop interface requirements documentation and interact with the Requirements Management and Validation & Verification (V&V) disciplines.
Ensure effective interaction with:
Customers and stakeholders.
Design management and technical disciplines.
Construction management and delivery teams.
Operations and maintenance teams.
System safety and security disciplines.
Support construction and installation activities in the field.
Support testing and commissioning activities.
About you
Holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent and is a member in good standing of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
Holds or is interested in obtaining a CAMP or PMP certification (considered an asset).
Has experience developing, documenting, and validating systems integration activities throughout the lifecycle of an asset or project.
Has experience in light rail transit, subway, or commuter rail systems, with specific expertise in systems integration.
Has strong knowledge of systems engineering processes and the EN 15288 standard, as well as knowledge of CENELEC standards and processes.
Possesses knowledge of engineering and systems integration practices and processes, with practical experience implementing them.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including SharePoint.
Able to lead discussions with partners, customers, and suppliers, and interact with technical experts in a delivery management capacity.
Demonstrates excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to present to audiences of industry experts.
