Financial Analysis - Corporate Development Finance - Senior Associate

As a Senior Associate in Corporate Development Finance, you support partnership evaluation and help us make informed decisions that drive growth and customer impact. You will work closely with finance and business partners to assess new opportunities, quantify value, and communicate trade-offs clearly. You will join a collaborative team culture where we challenge assumptions, share feedback, and execute with strong attention to detail. Your work will help us structure financially sound, scalable partnerships that strengthen our business over time.
Job Responsibilities:
Analyze new partnership opportunities across Chase lines of business
Build financial models to forecast performance and value potential partnerships
Evaluate valuation outcomes using sound assumptions and critical thinking
Develop business cases and supporting materials for internal and external proposals
Value potential new co-brand partnership opportunities
Develop and enhance valuation models, tools, and methodologies
Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Corporate Development, and Chase lines of business to align on business needs
Manage multiple concurrent initiatives and deliver on timelines
Collaborate with the mergers and acquisitions team on due diligence for acquisitions and strategic investments
Present insights and recommendations to business and finance leaders
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
4+ years of experience in an analytical role (for example, corporate finance, strategic finance, or valuation)
Experience building and maintaining financial models for forecasting and valuation
Knowledge of common valuation methodologies and experience valuing companies or portfolios
Experience developing clear business cases and presenting recommendations to stakeholders
Strong written communication and presentation skills
Ability to research competitor offerings and synthesize findings into actionable insights
Experience partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Experience in investment banking, management consulting, or credit card partnerships
Ability to influence stakeholders and concisely articulate key recommendations
Comfort working with ambiguous goals and evolving priorities
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Self-directed approach to understanding business needs and challenging the status quo constructively
