Roastery Operations: Delivery Driver/Production Assistant
Description:
Load, transport and deliver orders to Rival Bros cafe locations locally as well as wholesale accounts and suppliers within the PA, NJ, DE tristate area where necessary in a safe and timely manner
Basic delivery vehicle maintenance including maintaining adequate tire pressures, fluid levels etc and communicating needed service when due (oil changes/inspections etc) or flagging any issues that may arise.
Confidently and professionally represent Rival Bros on deliveries, among accounts.
Maintain a clean and a presentable workspace
Comply with all food safety protocols.
Jump in where needed to help keep the team and production operation moving
Assist in cleaning and upkeep of ALL equipment and facilities (from the heavy machinery to dumpsters and everything in between)
Perform all duties with professionalism, positivity, transparency, and respect.
Potential for this role to develop into a full time position.
Requirements:
Must be available for 25hrs a week Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Enthusiasm and hustle to learn and grow as an individual and as a member of the team
Flexibility and adaptability to a growing business and innovation
Has a valid Driver’s license and safe driving record
Experience with and confidence driving a passenger van (or larger) in city and highway settings
Team player mindset
Must be able to lift 75lbs solo and 150lbs team effort
Stand for long periods of time, most of the shift is spent standing
Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying heavy objects and materials
