Are you a Virginia-licensed or provisionally licensed counselor looking for a role where you can grow your clinical skills and make a meaningful impact?
At Pyramid Healthcare New River Valley Inpatient, you'll join a close-knit clinical team providing substance use disorder treatment in a collaborative environment. You'll have the opportunity to work directly with clients through individual, family, and group therapy while building valuable experience toward your professional goals.
What You'll Do
Provide individual, family, and group counseling services
Assess clients' behavioral, emotional, cognitive, social, and other treatment needs
Develop and support individualized treatment goals
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Coordinate care with referral sources and outpatient providers
Participate in aftercare planning and continuity of care
Provide documentation needed for utilization review
Support clients through challenging moments and provide crisis intervention when needed
Participate in an on-call rotation as assigned
Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary treatment team

Required: Master's degree in human services or a related field from an accredited college AND one of the following Virginia credentials:
CSAC-S
Resident in Counseling
Supervisee in Social Work
LSATP
LPC
LCSW

Position Details
📍 6226 University Park Drive, Radford, VA
💰 $61,000–$70,000/year, based on education and experience
🗓️ Full-time | Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM
🏥 In-person
📅 Holidays as needed; some weekend work
