Load Planner 4 (Edwardsville, KS)

Job Details:
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the following:
Maintain orderly and accurate flow of trailers and shipping orders throughout the shipping system.
Performs all duties in an efficient orderly manner to obtain the desired and expected load out goals and deadline departure times, as set forth by management and scheduling.
Communicate with the traffic department.
Perform all PC terminal functions.
Prepare paperwork neatly and accurately; communicate with scheduling.
Other duties as required.
Must be willing to cross train and be developed in other areas and departments.
B Shift: Sunday - Tuesday (6PM to 6AM) & Wednesday (6PM to midnight).
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 2 years experience with Forward Warehouse Material Handling TCCS or PBX function.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills required.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate using radio telephone e-mail and person to person.
Special Skills: Understanding of all business factors impacting warehouse planning decision making.
Travel: Minimal
