Position Summary
The Material Handler is responsible for a wide range of material handling, inventory control, and
shipping and receiving activities. This role supports efficient receiver, packing and shipping
operations while maintaining strict safety, quality, and 5S standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Work in a scheduled rotation of packers and shippers to ensure all daily packing and
shipping requirements are met
• Package and prepare spare parts and dental equipment for shipment using standardized
methods
• Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate logistics for outbound shipments and
returns
• Route outgoing shipments through approved truckers and freight forwarders
• Assemble and maintain shipping documentation to provide proof of shipment, including
tracking and shipment history, for internal and external customers upon request
• Post orders and shipping information daily using SAP
• Collaborate with manufacturing team members to ensure transactional accuracy
• Provide freight rate information to the customer service department
• Prepare boxes, skids, and pallets with appropriate labels and documentation as required
• Review open customer orders to efficiently meet shipping schedules and requested ship
dates
• Receive and RMA process all incoming materials, including production materials, RMAs,
NCP, PPAP, and non-inventory items
Verify packing slips, purchase orders, revision levels, and physical goods in accordance
with work instructions
• Ensure all received materials are put away within 24 hours in designated, segregated
storage locations
• Pick parts and deliver materials to packing areas as required
• Trigger electronic Kanban transactions in SAP
• Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental and organizational goals
Job Requirements:

Licensed Driver: Must possess a valid driver’s license in good standing

Qualifications
Willingness and ability to be trained and certified to operate a forklift
Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed, often with limited notice
Basic computer skills, including data entry and Microsoft Office applications
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 1 year of shipping and receiver experience required
Minimum of 1 year of SAP experience preferred
Previous logistics experience preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds independently and assist with lifts of 35–50 pounds
Ability to push or pull containers using pallet jacks
Frequent bending, stooping, and repetitive movements
Occasional overhead lifting
Ability to stand at a workstation for extended periods of time

Target Market Salary Range:

The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
For Field Sales roles, the salary range listed reflects base pay only and does not include incentive pay opportunities under the applicable sales compensation plan
