Baptist Health is seeking a Diagnostic Breast Sonographer for our Ultrasound Department at Hill Breast Center in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a Full-Time, Day shift opportunity.
At Baptist Health, our Diagnostic Sonographers play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care through advanced imaging by performing high-quality ultrasound examinations, assisting physicians, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients.
Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Responsibilities:
Performs high-quality, diagnostic ultrasound and peripheral vascular procedures
Promotes goodwill among coworkers and other departments and has a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients
Is compliant with mandatory education and health requirements
Experience Requirements:
1-2 Years Experience Working in a Hospital Setting
1-2 Years Hospital-based department-specific work experience
1-2 Years Ultrasound Experience
1-2 Years Customer Service Experience
Education & Credential Requirements:
Vocational School
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) - ARDMS Preferred
Registered Radiologic Technologist- ARRT Preferred
Registered Technologist in Sonography - ARRT Preferred
Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) - CCI – Cardiovascular Preferred
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) - ARDMS Preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS)-AHA Required
If hired, must obtain certification in Sonography from the ARDMS or ARRT (S) and RVT or ARRT(VS) or RVS within 12 months of hire.
