County Waste has an immediate opening for a Baler Operator to work at our site in Albany, NY.
Pay Rate: $22-$24 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 5:00pm

Our priority is to make sure we hire safe equipment operators that care about the safety of our team and the service provided to our customers. As a equipment operator with us the minimum responsibilities are:
Operate and tend the baling machine to compress and bind materials.
Transport materials to the baling machine.
Place materials in the compression chamber of the baling machine.
Transport bales to storage, weigh them, and record the weight.
Line the compression chamber with appropriate covering before baling.
Performing routine inspection and maintenance on equipment.
Promoting continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
Interacting with customers and Waste Connections employees to determine safe and environmentally sound solutions to service issues.
What we need from you:
2+ years’ experience running equipment
Knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance.
Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
