AI Strategist

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in program management, strategy, or business operations.
Experience leading change management initiatives and managing executive stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in global operations with organizational structures and workflows.
Experience with no-code/low-code AI tools and a willingness to learn.
Experience in contributing to the development and deployment of technology solutions (including AI/ML), demonstrating the ability to identify opportunities and collaborate with technical teams.
Knowledge of global HR/People Operations processes or service operations transformation.
Ability to drive initiatives requiring change management and stakeholder alignment, while also connecting ideas, identifying synergies, and fostering across teams.
Passion for structuring information to facilitate decision-making and align stakeholders.
About The Job
AI Garage is a new initiative within People Operations (POps) and Corp Engineering, established with the goal of leveraging AI to transform Google’s HR products and operations. The team sits at the intersection of Business, Product, and Engineering to ideate, design, and launch industry defining agentic systems and capabilities.
In this role, you will be a part of a cross-functional team of AI specialists who work with business teams to design impactful, industry defining AI solutions by re-imagining existing workflows, and engaging closely with engineering teams to develop, test, and deploy them.
Responsibilities
Lead the conceptualization, design, build, and launch of AI-driven solutions focused on business value and user experience, ensuring strict adherence to safety, compliance, ethical AI principles, and human-in-the-loop verification.
Partner with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to analyze incumbent processes and redesign them into agentic workflows, acting as an expert on emerging AI capabilities, industry trends, and best practices.
Build and integrate high-quality AI solutions into client workflows using agentic harnesses and frameworks, authoring prompts, evaluation plans and leading human evaluations where required.
Engage with internal and external engineering teams to lead business requirements and drive the delivery of large-scale engineered solutions.
Establish success metrics, measurement frameworks, and ROI models, drive change management for scaled adoption, and present strategic direction and updates to senior POps and Engineering leadership.
