This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for scientists who want to do meaningful, intellectually stimulating work on their own schedule. No prior AI experience needed — just deep domain knowledge and a commitment to scientific rigor.

What You'll Do
Develop, solve, and critically review advanced biology problems with real-world scientific relevance
Apply your expertise in genetics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, or related fields to design complex, challenging problem statements
Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to strengthen AI model reasoning in the life sciences
Ensure scientific accuracy, clarity, and depth across all deliverables
Work independently on task-based assignments fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
Holds a Master's or PhD in Biology or a closely related field (Genetics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, etc.)
Strong expertise in one or more of: genetics, biotechnology, or bioinformatics
Comfortable coding in Python or R for research or data analysis
Exceptional written communication skills with strong attention to scientific detail
Fluent in English — self-motivated and reliable when working independently
Nice to Have
Prior experience with data annotation, data quality review, or AI evaluation workflows
Background in scientific writing, peer review, or research publication
Familiarity with bioinformatics pipelines, genomic data analysis, or computational biology tools
Experience translating complex scientific concepts for non-specialist audiences
