Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science, established through a partnership with King's College School, Wimbledon and Nanjing Foreign Language School, is looking for an outstanding Teacher of A-Level Economics to join our school as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will teach Economics within our Senior School, with the teaching load primarily focused on Cambridge International AS Level Economics, alongside A-Level teaching as required.
This is an opportunity to work with motivated students preparing for leading universities worldwide, developing their economic understanding, analytical thinking and ability to apply theory to complex real-world issues.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this Economics teaching position, candidates should have:
Degree in Economics or a closely related field
Recognized teaching qualification, license or certification, such as UK QTS/PGCE or an equivalent US, Canadian or Australian teaching credential
At least 3 years of relevant teaching experience
Experience teaching Economics at Senior School / Sixth Form level
Experience teaching AS and/or A-Level Economics or a comparable examination curriculum
Strong subject knowledge and understanding of examination-level Economics
Experience teaching within an international, British or comparable Senior School environment
Able to meet Chinese work-permit requirements
Able to join the school as soon as possible

Plan and deliver engaging, academically rigorous AS and A-Level Economics lessons, with a primary focus on AS Level
Develop students' understanding of microeconomics, macroeconomics and international economic issues
Build students' skills in analysis, evaluation, data interpretation and evidence-based argument
Connect economic theory to current events, policy decisions and real-world case studies
Prepare students effectively for Cambridge International AS & A-Level Economics examinations
Use assessment and feedback to monitor progress and support strong academic outcomes
Contribute to the wider academic, pastoral and co-curricular life of the school

About Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science
Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science opened in 2018 through a partnership between Nanjing Foreign Language School and King's College School, Wimbledon, with the support of the Wuxi local government. Since opening with 750 students, the school has grown to a community of just under 2,000 students.
