Role Description The Senior Product Designer will lead end-to-end design for key Billease products, from discovery and user research through prototyping and final visual design. This full-time, hybrid role is based in Makati, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define problems, map user journeys, and create intuitive, accessible interfaces across web and mobile platforms. The Senior Product Designer will plan and conduct user research, synthesize insights, and iteratively test design solutions to improve usability and business outcomes. The role also involves maintaining design systems, mentoring other designers, and ensuring that all experiences reflect Billease’s brand, regulatory requirements, and customer-centric values.
Qualifications
Strong Product Design and Design Thinking skills, including experience owning end-to-end product design in digital environments.
Proficiency in User Research and UX Research methods, such as interviews, usability testing, surveys, and behavioral analysis.
Advanced Visual Design capabilities, including layout, typography, color, and component design for responsive web and mobile interfaces.
Expertise in design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
Proven track record designing consumer-facing financial or fintech products is highly beneficial.
Ability to communicate design rationales clearly, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and balance user needs with business goals.
Experience mentoring designers or contributing to team best practices and design standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
