Your Role:
The Production Planner 2 plans, schedules, and coordinates products and raw materials through the production schedules. The role expedites operations that delay schedules. It interfaces with Production, Quality Control, and Procurement to review backorder status and prioritize production orders. The Production Planner 2 also mitigates other potential schedule interruptions or rescheduling requirements.
Essential Functions:
Analyze plant capacity and production data to determine manufacturing processes and resources.
Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams that affect team performance.
Uses sound interpersonal skills to advance discussions and build consensus across the business primarily regarding own technical area or discipline.
Use specialist knowledge, analytical skills, judgment, and broad conceptual and practical experience to solve complex problems and to contribute to process improvements.
Coordinate production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules to maintain production and provide input to management.
Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams that affect team performance.

Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
5+ years of planning experience.
OR
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or other business discipline.
3+ years of planning experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Biochemical or Biotechnical experience.
Production planning.
APICS Certification.
Team leadership experience.
Ability to expedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
Ability to work with own discretion and judgment within broad guidelines.
Ability to manage own workload with minimal supervision.
Working knowledge of SAP.
Effective analytical, conceptual, and communication skills, both oral and written.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Pay Range for this position: $62,800 - $107,400​
