Role Description The Assistant Manager role at Steel is a full-time, on-site position based in Khopoli. The Assistant Manager will support daily operations by coordinating production activities, monitoring workflow, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. This role involves supervising team members, assigning tasks, tracking performance metrics, and resolving operational issues in collaboration with senior management. The Assistant Manager will assist with scheduling, resource planning, and process improvements to meet targets and timelines. The position also includes preparing reports, maintaining documentation, and communicating with cross-functional teams to support smooth and efficient plant operations.

Strong skills in operations oversight and team coordination, with the ability to supervise staff and manage daily activities.
Competence in planning, scheduling, and resource management to ensure production targets and timelines are met.
Ability to monitor quality and safety standards, identify issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, including comfort with data, reports, and performance metrics.
Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or plant operations is preferred; knowledge of steel or related sectors is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, operations management, business, or a related field is beneficial.
Capacity to work on-site in Khopoli, with flexibility to adapt to operational needs and shift requirements as needed.
