Position Overview and Objective
The Senior Core Platform Services UI Developer is an essential contributor to the R&D organization by helping bridge the gap between UX Design and Agile Development at Arctic Wolf. They bring engineering knowledge and user context to the Agile team to help make well-informed design decisions that are technically feasible, testable and maintainable. They bring expertise of Front-End technologies and help mentor other developers as a subject matter expert.
You will be a key member of the Core Platform Services team responsible for the Access Control Platform, which is critical for Arctic Wolf Networks to deliver world-class security operations at scale to global customers.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Developer at Arctic Wolf, you will:
Design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions using ReactJS and Golang.
Own complex features from design through implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
Build scalable, maintainable, and reusable software components that support long-term product goals.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Participate in architecture reviews, technical design discussions, and code reviews to ensure engineering excellence.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges across systems and teams.
Contribute to software quality through automated testing, performance optimization, and adherence to coding standards.
Mentor and support engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing.
Drive continuous improvement in development processes, system reliability, and engineering best practices.
Participate in operational support and incident resolution as needed.
Experience & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of professional software development experience building and delivering scalable, production-grade applications
Proven experience building and delivering scalable, production-grade software applications.
Strong hands-on experience with:
ReactJS
Golang
Solid understanding of software engineering principles, object-oriented design, and modern development practices.
Experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting cloud-native or distributed systems.
Proficiency in code reviews, debugging, performance optimization, and automated testing.
Experience participating in technical design and architecture discussions.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on complex technical challenges.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience mentoring engineers and promoting engineering best practices is preferred.
