Description:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Claims Operations team at Marsh. This role will be based in our Fiji Suva office.
In this role, you will manage specialist commercial claims across Property, Marine, Construction, Directors & Officers, Professional Indemnity, and other commercial lines of business. You will provide technical advice, support claim resolution and act as an advisor to a portfolio of SME and corporate clients, building trusted relationships and delivering high-quality service.
We will count on you to:
Handle standard to complex commercial claims with a focus on client advocacy
Provide technical advice and support from first notification through to final settlement, while protecting the client’s interests
Advise clients and brokers on policy coverage and interpretation, including claims involving insurer indemnity disputes
Respond to queries from brokers and clients, conduct meetings and liaise with clients, insurers, claimants and external providers
Manage standard to complex claims in line with company processes and client service agreements
Identify claims referral opportunities and work with the Advocacy team on claims issues
Prepare routine and ad hoc reports and present quarterly and/or annual reviews
Build and maintain networks to keep abreast of industry changes
What you need to have:
At least 3-5 years of insurance claims experience, preferably in specialty commercial lines
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, insurers and external representatives
Experience working in a client-focused claims or insurance environment
What makes you stand out:
Diploma Financial Services or Bachelor’s degree;
Studying towards Graduate Diploma Financial Services;
Law degree or experience in a legal environment
