Are you a Powered Access Engineer / IPAF Engineer looking to join a company that truly values its employees? We are currently offering several exciting opportunities for experienced Powered Access Service Engineers, Field Service Engineers, and IPAF Mobile Engineers to work remotely from home. Our client compensates you on a door-to-door basis, ensuring you are paid from the moment you leave your home until you return. This role involves fault finding, repairing, and maintaining a range of powered access machinery for hire companies and manufacturers, including van-mounted platforms, boom lifts, pallet trucks, and more.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess prior experience as a service engineer within the powered access industry. Essential qualifications include a valid IPAF license and, preferably, a CAP certification. A full UK driving license is mandatory, as the role requires traveling to various sites. Candidates should demonstrate technical proficiency in diagnosing and repairing powered access equipment, along with a strong safety awareness and commitment to quality service delivery.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on powered access machinery to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
Diagnose faults accurately and efficiently, implementing effective repair solutions to minimize downtime.
Travel to client sites across the Midlands and potentially nationwide, providing on-site technical support.
Maintain detailed service records and reports for all work carried out, adhering to company and industry standards.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all service activities.
Assist in the training and mentoring of junior engineers or apprentices when required.
Participate in emergency call-outs and overtime as necessary to support customer needs.
