TACL scripting (OBEY files, commands, job control)
Batch processing and scheduling systems
Deep understanding of:
job dependencies
execution flows
restart/recovery mechanisms
file-based batch workflows
✅ Batch & Operations Expertise
Experience managing complex batch operations in enterprise systems
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for batch failures
Experience in performance tuning of batch jobs
Understanding of operational SLAs and batch windows
✅ Modernization Awareness
Exposure to legacy-to-cloud modernization programs
Understanding of how batch processes are transformed into:
modern workflows
event-driven or scheduled cloud jobs
Ability to map legacy execution patterns to modern solutions
✅ Data & File Processing
Experience with fixed-width file formats, flat files, and batch data processing
